lubomir hofmann armchair for ton 1960 midcentury
A set of 4 Lubomir Hofmann armchairs for TON. TON is short for the famous Czechoslovakian Thonet factory. Well known for their bented beechwood chairs they had a revival in the 1960s by combining their artisanal techniques with contemporary design. One of the designers they collaborated with was Hofmann. He drew a elegant and very comfortable armchair which TON produced with bented beech and stained plywood. This set consists of 4 chairs in their original patina. Each is different from the other in that respect but form a beautiful ensemble together. We offer these chairs together or separate. Each one is sturdy and suited for every day use.
