SOLD 17th century mountain cupboard
A great example of rural furniture from the 17th century. As the form, a 4 door low cupboard, is typical for this time the use of full slabs of wood simply but skilfully dovetailed together still resonates the medieval period. The use of chestnut tell us this piece probably originates from teh Dordogne region in France.
Allover great proportions, stunning patina and just a honest feel about it.
