abstract round painting tabletop
A mounted 19th century tabletop. These winetables were used in vinyards and the countryside in general ass multifunctional furniture. Usually foldable and light in weight they were placed in- and outdoors whenever necessary. The tops were often painted or, as in this case, made in faux marble or faux cuir, imitation leather. Almost 200 years of use has beautifully patined this top as it it could be easily held for a abstract painting by time. We mounted this and, when hit by light, it really comes alive.
