SOLD Chinese Scholar’s stone

A so called Scholar's Stone or Gonshi. Naturally formed stones like this one were collected for centuries by Chinese scolars and philosophers as a meditative tool and thing of beauty. This particular one is a specimen of a sandstone called black Lingbi stone (from the Lingbi provence).
