set of 18th century white Korean vases
A set of 2 simular late 18th century Korean vases. Both with a fine cream color and a typical minimalistic bulb shape. White pottery like this is rare because it was only made for noble houses during the Joseon dynasty.
Overall in very good condition. Typical ware and small scratches confirming the age and giving it a beautiful patina. Some old restaurations also but very well done.
The glaze is particularly attractive as it's faded to a very soft transparent shine.
One vase 23 cm high x 11 cm diam and the other 25 cm high x 13 cm diam or in inches 9" high x 4,3" diam and 9,8" high x 5,12" high
