SOLD Renaat Ivens
SOLD. A oil on artisanal paper drawing (mixed-media) by Belgian artist Renaat Ivens (1935-2016) signed on the lower right and dated 1992 Paris on the back. Ivens was a painter, graphic artist and drawer who is known for his maximum expression with a minimum of materials. Evolving all his career to abstraction he reached his height with monochrome works of which several are exhibited in Belgium museum.
